I've really been trying to process the losses that three people close to me have experienced recently. All three lost siblings very suddenly. I often write when trying to grapple with these heart breaking and sensitive (though sometimes restoring) situations. This piece may potentially offer no solace, but it is what came to me today.
We must trust
not in knowledge
as the source of
our power
we must thrust
onward knowing
that knowing
isn't ours
we must bridge
now with never
on our journey to forever
trusting, not knowing,
that things will soon
be better.
